Flavours of the World

Cultures in the City is pleased to present Flavours of the World from vendors who proudly share their cultural favourites at SITC each year.  These incredible dishes are not available in local restaurants – only at Cultures in the City!

Food Vendors

  • China – (Fortune Kitchen)
  • German / Serbian – Currywurst, and Steak or Schnitzel on a Bun
  • Jamaican – Jerk Chicken, Curried Lamb, and Jamaican Patties (Di Reggae Grill)
  • Korea – (Irori BBQ House)
  • Mennonite – Waffles with White Sauce (Mennonite Heritage Village)
  • Paraguay – Empanadas (El Vecino Foods)
  • Philippines – Pork BBQ Skewers (SEMFA)

Craft Vendors

  • Ghana – African Vibes (handmade clothes & jewelry)
  • India – Mehndi / Henna Tattoos

Heritage In The City

Visit the famous waffles & white sauce booth!  And take a horse-drawn wagon ride!  Pickup is at the Jake Epp Library.  Rides will be given Saturday and Sunday between 1:00 – 4:00pm.
